PPP s arrested leader Dr Asim hospitalised after cardiac pain

KARACHI (Online) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi after he complained of cardiac pain.

The former petroleum minister was shifted to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Karachi, where he underwent several tests and was later on admitted.

A three-member board of doctors has been constituted for medical examination of Dr Asim Hussain.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah visited National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and enquired after the health of PPP leader.

Dr Asim has requested for his legal adviser and his family to visit him at the hospital.
