LONDON (Web Desk) – The Duke of Cambridge and second in line to British throne, Prince William has revealed that like every kid he also had the dream jobs in childhood that included becoming an astronaut, policeman and fire-breather.
Noguchi presented Prince William with a patch he wore on his spacesuit during his 177-day stay in space.. William joked: “I take it you’ve washed it”, on receiving the gift.
But when asked if he would consider being trained to fly into space, he said: “I don’t think my Euro-copter will make it that far up. It seems like an awfully long way from the ground.”
He added: “When I was younger, I dreamed of being an astronaut, but I also wanted to be a policeman or a fire breather. That might have been a bit alternative.”
William met the astronaut and chief executive as he launched the Innovation is Great campaign in Tokyo’s Roppongi district.
