KARACHI (Web Desk) – Former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf urged Supreme Court of Pakistan to oust the federal government which is incapable of running state affairs.
Former military ruler, while talking to a private TV channel, pleaded the premier court to dismiss the government following the doctrine of necessity. Nawaz Sharif is mistaken about his good governance, he added.
“It is my heartiest desire to see good governance prevailing in Pakistan and it doesn’t matter who brings it about,” he said, adding that “a third political force is the need of the hour.”
Musharraf stressed that the country’s Constitution should be amended if it was holding its growth back.
He also said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s solo flight had no future in Pakistan. Khan should join hand with other aspiring political forces instead, he explained.
