ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday directed the Director General Immigration and Passports to further simplify the procedure of renewal of passports.
In a statement, the spokesperson of Interior Ministry said that the applicants would now be able to get their passports renewed from any office of the passport located in the country and abroad.
Earlier, there was a condition that passports could only be renewed from the city or districts of the applicants as mentioned on their identity cards.
The Interior Minister has directed to ensure full implementation of this new system within a month.
