ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet has approved provision of 64,000 metric tons of wheat to the United Nations World Food Programme for Temporary Displaced Persons of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
The meeting of the Committee was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.
It also granted approval of the extension of 0.3% reduced rate of withholding tax on non-filers up to 7th of next month.
The Committee also approved the issuance of sovereign guarantee against financing facility of 18 billion rupees for Thar- Matyari Transmission Line project.
