ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan Television will be starting ‘High Definition’ transmission from next week, announced Managing Director Mohammad Malik on Thursday.
Addressing a ceremony of CBA in Islamabad, Malik said initially PTV Home will air HD transmission as trial, which will be extended to all other government owned channels. PTV is adopting modern technologies at great speed, he added.
On the occasion he also announced to pay the dues of all pensioners in few days. The process of paying pensions will be completed with in two months, he said.
He stressed all the workers of PTV to invest all of their energies in making it a more profitable national institution.
