ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) lawmaker Abid Raza and two others in a murder case.
The apex court had taken a suo moto notice of his acquittal after a settlement with the petitioner in the case despite having been charged under anti-terrorism act.
A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Mr Anwar Zaheer Jamali, ordered police to produce the culprits, while adjourning the hearing.
Abid Raza was elected as MNA in NA-107 Gujrat on the ticket of PML-N.
