KARACHI (Staff Report) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah will Wednesday (today) chair a session of provincial apex committee to review law and order situation ahead of Chehlum-e-Imam Hussain (RA) and local bodies elections in Karachi.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibaad Khan, Corps Commander Karachi Lt-General Naveed, DG Sindh rangers Major-General Bilal Akbar, IG Sindh Police Haider Jamali and provincial ministers will attend the meeting.
The meeting will also discuss the ongoing investigations of several terrorism related cases that were previously forwarded to military courts.
Recent attacks on Rangers personnel and Military Police officials will also come under discussion during the meeting.
