ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that development projects should be designed to conform to highest standards of transparency.
Chairing a review meeting of Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms projects in Islamabad, he directed for speeding up the pace of work on projects initiated by PML-N government.
The Minister said cost rationalization should be ensured while designing and executing the projects to save precious national resources and corrective measures should be made well in time to avoid delays.
He also directed for synergizing the efforts of various departments and harnessing the resources outside government to achieve the desired goals.
