Five TTP terrorists killed in Dera Ghazi Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN (Online) – At least five alleged terrorists were killed in a police encounter in the Qasba Wadoor area of Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday.

On a tip-off, a team of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a raid at a hideout and an encounter took place and as a result, five alleged terrorists were killed.

According to the CTD, the killed terrorists were linked the banned outfit, Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan. The slain terrorists were identified as Mohammad Tariq, Nasir Ameen, Usman and Salman.

The CTD also claimed to have recovered weapons, two hand grenades and three pistols from their possession.

According to the CTD, the terrorists were planning to carry out a terrorist attack in the city on 12th Rabiul Awal.
