LAHORE (Staff Reporter) – One labourer was killed while two others were injured on Sunday when they refused to pay extortion money.
As per details, extortionist, Siddique, demanded Rs 200 from workers of Nishtar Colony vegetable market as extortion money, but they refused to pay any money. On that, Siddique opened fire, injuring three labourer of the market.
All the injured persons were shifted to Lahore General Hospital for medical assistance where Javed succumbed to his injuries.
Relatives of the victims staged protest in front of Chief Minister (CM) House, demanding justice and strict action against the culprits.
