TANK (Online) – A man died of heart attack on Wednesday, while standing in a queue to collect his national identity card at a NADRA centre in Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Safeer Barki, a resident of Ladha in South Waziristan, stood in the line for hours to collect his CNIC before he collapsed and died on the spot.
Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) have said they have to wait for hours in queues to get their CNICs, while agents demand bribes for handing over of cards.
They have demanded of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and KP Governor Sardar Mehtab Abbassi to take notice of the issue.
