KARACHI (Web Desk) – Sindh Chief Minister on Friday said the Sindh Police will thoroughly investigate the Rangers raid at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wheras The Rangers have complete authority over Karachi’s administration.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the 87th passing out parade ceremony at the Police Training Centre Saeedabad.
He said that the law and order situation is poor in the entire country however Karachi has been a victim of gang wars and other crimes for a long time. Operation against militants and criminals is ongoing in the city, he added.
He claimed that there is not a single case of ransom kidnapping in the province at the moment.
Shah said that many police and Rangers personnel have sacrificed their lives for the cause of peace. He said that the Sindh government has increased the money given to the families of the martyrs from Rs 2 lac to at least Rs 20 lac.
On the occasion, Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Haider Thebo also addressed the newly inducted personnel.
As many as 510 policemen took part in the passing out parade.
