LAHORE (APP) – The Business Incubation Centre (BIC) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore which has launched PetsOne.pk website in the city campus of varsity some days back has started much positive response from the people having pets at their homes.
Talking to APP, Vice Chancellor of the varsity Prof Talat Naseer Pasha said that the website offered an online store where pet owners could purchase pet food, pet accessories and related items online.
He said that scores of people keeping pets had contacted the BIC of the varsity for different orders including food and pet related items. He said that during trial period the response was very encouraging.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha appreciated the effort of the Business Incubation Centre team and PetsOne.pk founder Dr Jawad Ahmad for taking such an initiative towards entrepreneurship and economic development.
He said these days majority of the people prefered to sell and buy their things online for saving their precious times and the PetsOne.pk was the best example as well.
The PetsOne.pk was a startup from UVAS Business Incubation Centre proudly founded by a young veterinarian, providing one stop solutions for pet owners using information technology, he said and added that it also offered verified information and technical contents duly scrutinized by qualified veterinarians, available for pet owners. The startup also aimed at launching home pet vaccination services and mobile veterinary clinical services in near future.
