Brussels attackers wanted to target Paris again

BRUSSELS (Staff Report) – The third and alive bomber of Brussels airport has disclosed to the interrogators that his group was planning another attack in Paris, however the arrest of key member Salah Abdeslam pushed them to change their plan and target Brussels.

According to information disseminated by Belgian media, Mohamed Abrini -the man wearing cap in picture that shows all three bombers of Brussels airport- said that they decided to target different locations in Brussels instead of Paris in March this year.

The information has also been verified by the office Belgian prosecutor. The statement added that Abrini  was cooperating with the investigators.

As many 132 people were killed in Paris, France when multiple location were targeted by terrorists on November 13, 2015 while in alike attacks in Brussels, Belgium killed 32 people on March 22. Both of the actions were claimed by Middle East based terrorist group Islamic State.
