ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Mauritius President Dr Bibi Ameenah Firdaus is today (Monday) set to meet President Mamnoon Hussain, on the second day of her four-day Pakistan tour.
According to a statement, a to level delegation will also be present in the meeting. Matters of mutual interest as well as regional and international importance will come under discussion in the meeting.
During her four-day visit to Pakistan, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of State for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarrar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi will call on the visiting dignitary.
Pakistan and Mauritius enjoy close and cordial relations, which are based on mutual identity of views on regional and global issues.
During the visit, the two sides will explore the possibilities of further strengthening existing bilateral ties in various fields of common interest with particular focus on economic and trade relations.
