Pakistan in talks with Italy, France to import LNG

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The government has been considering the annual import of 60 lac tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Italy and France.

According to media reports, the government is in talks with Italian ENI and a French company for the import of LNG, which will not cost more than 13.37 percent of Brent crude oil’s price.

Pakistan has already been importing at least 300 million cubic ft of LNG from Qatar ever day.
