KP Assembly condemns US drone attack in Pakistan

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly unanimously passed a resolution that strongly condemned the US drone attack in the country on Friday.

The resolution moved by Fakhr-e-Azam Wazir termed the attack against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

It urged the federal government to take up the issue at the diplomatic level. It also demanded of the US government to apologize for this act.

In another resolution, the federal government was urged to bind provincial moon sighting committees in following the declaration of the central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee so that Ramazan and Eid celebrated could be celebrated in the same day throughout the country.
