PM Sharif, Army chief discuss Middle East situation

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday presided over a high-level meeting in Islamabad and discussed matters pertaining to national security and situation in the Middle East.

The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Admiral Zaka Ashraf and Air Marshal Suhail Amaan. Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and special adviser to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz.

Prime Minister pondered upon the overall situation of the country and Pakistan’s role in Yemen the Middle East conflict before attending the joint session of the parliament.
