Pakistan to sell Sukkuk bonds worth 1.5billion

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Government has decided to sell Sukkuk bonds worth $500 million to $1.5 billion.

The government has summoned bids for appointment of financial adviser within 30 days. The government has issued bonds worth $4.5 billion out of which sukkuk worth $1 billion were issued.

Meanwhile GP Morgan consultants have introduced index of Islamic bonds and Pakistani bonds have been included.
