MQM’s Vohra talks to unknown caller as Wasim Akhtar addresses media

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Arshad Vohra, who was elected as Deputy Mayor of Karachi, was seen mumbling and interrupting the press talk of newly elected Mayor of Karachi Wasim Akhtar in Karachi.

Vohra kept talking to an unidentified caller who supposedly sent him to make new Karachi mayor ameliorate his stance, Samaa TV reported.

On one occasion, Akhtar gets emotional and challenges filing of a lawsuit regarding the May 12 lawsuit against former President Pervez Musharraf.

“Limit your media talk to issues of Karachi, please,” Vohra whispered Wasim, who answered in affirmative.

On some other occasion, Vohra was heard talking on the telephone to an unknown caller, “I am taking him back. I hold his hand pressed in mine.”

“Bhai, be really careful. Don’t say anything other than Karachi’s progress, please,” Vohra said.

Later, Akhtar was listening to a journalist’s query and had just started talking when Vohra cautioned him in a dull voice, “Be exceedingly careful.”
