Islamabad not to close on Oct 30: Speaker National Assembly

LAHORE (Web Desk) – National Assembly Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Saturday said that conspiracies to hinder the process of development under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will not succeed at all.

Talking to the media after the inaugural ceremony of a new Academic Block at Queen Mary College here, he said that Islamabad would remain open on October 30 despite Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) plan to hold a protest sit-in in the federal capital.

“Islamabad will not close, the city as well as all business activities will remain open and conspiracies of those who want to scare away investors will fail,” Ayaz Sadiq said.

He said that education was the basic right of each and every child and the government was doing its best to fulfill its constitutional obligation.
