Four years ago on this day, Malala survived a Taliban attack in Swat

LAHORE – Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousufzai survived an attack on her life in Swat four years ago on this day (October 9, 2012).

She was on her way back from school when armed militants shot her in the head.

The 19-year-old activist, currently, lives in the United Kingdom due to threats to her life, and campaigns for girls’ education around the world.

The youngest prize winner passed O-level exams with six ‘A plus’ grades and now doing A-level.
