DUBAI (Web Desk) – Former captain of Peshawar Zalmi Shahid Afridi on Wednesday announced that Darren Sammy will be the new captain of the team.

The development came in as Afridi took the stage for a short while to make two quick announcements during PSL2 drafting ceremony held in Dubai.

I have two announcements. Batting veteran Younus Khan will be batting coach and mentor of Peshawar Zalmi. Darren Sammy will be the new captain of the team.
