LAHORE- Police have arrested three alleged killers of stage actress Kismat Baig, a senior police official said on Friday.
These persons are stated to have killed Kismat Baig at the behest of one Rana Muzammil on November 23. The stage actress was shot upon by three unknown persons in the morning on November 23 outside her home. She was seriously injured during firing and was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
“The mastermind, Rana Muzammil, has confessed to having stage actress killed through three criminals identified as Rizwan, Rehman and Azam”, the official said on condition on anonymity.
Muzammil also confessed that he got Kismat Baig murdered because she refused to perform in his stage drama and she had also not returned his money.
According to another official, the accused, Muzammil hired professional killers from Dubai .
40 theatre actors were also investigated in this regard.-Online
