KARACHI – A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Birmingham-bound flight was diverted to Berlin on Thursday owing to a medical emergency.
The local media quoting PIA spokesperson stated that flight PK791 was en route to Birmingham from Islamabad, but it was diverted to Berlin when the condition of a female passenger suddenly deteriorated.
Soon after the landing, the passenger was shifted to a local hospital for treatment, the spokesman added.
