Ten dead in Dadu bus fire; 25 badly burnt

DADU (Staff Report) – At least ten passengers were burnt to death while 25 others sustained injuries when a bus came in contact with 11000 KV high tension electrical wires in Dadu, police sources confirmed on Sunday.

The rescue teams immediately shifted the victims to Chandka Medical College Hospital and Khairpur Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

The dead reportedly included four women and three children.

The vehicle was enroute to Dadu from Baid Sharif.

Pakistan has an appalling record of fatal traffic accidents due to poor roads, badly-maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
