KARACHI (Web Desk) – A senior police officer was shot dead with his driver in what appears to be a sectarian attack in Karachi on Saturday, local media reported.
Zulfiqar Zaidi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, was sitting at a hotel when he was attacked by assailants in Shah Faisal Colony.
SSP Junaid Sheikh confirmed the death of Zulfiqar Zaidi in the shooting. The victim was the security incharge of Sindh High Court.
Earlier this week, DSP Fateh Mohamamd was gunned down in an ambush in Malir area of the city.
