ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan offered Thanksgiving prayers following the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court on Friday.
The jubilant leader, according to media reports, rushed to offer gratitude to the Almighty as the apex court delivered a landmark decision on Panamagate case, which Khan had been fighting the legal battle for.
The unanimous verdict was announced by a five-judge bench, headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, and comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan.
