ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan held a reception regarding his third marriage with Bushra Mankera on Sunday.
According to a report by Neo News, the wedding reception was arranged in a manner to avoid media spotlight and the cricketer-turned-politician introduced his spiritual mentor-turned-wife to senior party aides.
It bears mentioning that PTI shared pictures of Khan’s third marriage on February 18 but clarified that the third wife of legislator would be non-political.
Imran Khan’s Struggle with Institution of Marriage
Though Imran Khan saw a lady luck smiling on his face throughout his life be it in realms of education or cricket, his marital life witnessed a juxtaposition.
Khan first tied the knot with a Britisher Jemima Khan on May 16, 1995 that ended in divorce after nine years in 2004.
Afterwards, his second marriage was with TV anchor Reham Khan, which lasted for 10 months. Although the marriage was publicly announced on January 8, 2015, reports swirled that a nikah had taken place in early November 2015.
Regardign Bushra Maneka, reports swirled in January that Khan had tied the knot, however, PTI denied any such arrangement, clarifying that the proposal had been sent.
