Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit were one of the most popular on screen couples of the 90s. Both legendary actors in their own way, the two have been part of movies such as ‘Parinda’ and ‘Zindagi Aik Juaa.’
Now, according to Film fare, the duo are set to make a comeback as they begin shooting for Indra Kumar’s new adventure comedy, ‘Total Dhamaal’.
According to Kumar “All three of us are shooting together 26 years after Betaand I’m excited about reuniting with my blockbuster jori. I remember a week before the film’s release, we picturised Dhak Dhak. It was a last-minute addition and it created history. We were all blown away when we saw it for the first time.”
In a statement, the director also further elabroated that Dixit and Kapoor will be playing husband and wife in the movie and have been preparing for their roles extensively. He said, “I can’t reveal any details except that Anil goes by the name of Avinash and all of us call him Avi.”
Besides the dynamic duo the film stars the likes of Arshad Warsi, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra, Ptobash and Javed Jaffri. Madhuri and Anil have begun shooting for the film which will go on for the next fifteen days.
