LOS ANGELES – According to report, Vin Diesel’s One Race Films and The H Collective has bought rights to the xXx franchise from Revolution Studios. Vin Diesel has played the titular role of Xander Cage, the secret agent in the series.
After making a return to the silver screen in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel is now going to helm the fourth film in the blockbuster series.
But the answer to the question that everybody has been waiting for is, will Deepika Padukone return alongside Diesel in the fourth installment in her character of Serena Unger?
The production for the film will start this December. Although it is a known fact that Deepika will return to Hollywood soon, it is not known yet whether it will be for this film.
However, according to Hollywood Reporter, director D.J. Caruso has hinted towards the return of Bollywood’s diva for the sequel.
For one, we would really like to see Deepika again in her badass avatar. Till the news is confirmed, we have our fingers crossed.
