Pakistan to face Scotland in first T20I today

LONDON – Pakistan will be looking to maintain their ranking as no 1 in T20I as the first match of limited over series between Green shirts and Scottish team will be played today in Edinburgh.

Pakistan will be playing two-match T20I series against Scotland who are on a high from after their ODI win against England.

Pakistan are currently the number one side in the ICC T20I team rankings while Scotland are ranked 11.

Scotland beat world number one-ranked ODI team England by six runs in a thrilling match at Edinburgh on Sunday.

Injured Babar Azam will be replaced by Haris Sohail who is in excellent form.

Pakistan Squad:

Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Rahat Ali, Usman Shinwari and Shaheen Afridi.

The match will begin at 8 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

The second T20I will be played on Wednesday, June 13th in Edinburgh.
