No loadshedding at PM Imran s house in Lahore

LAHORE – Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence has been declared as load-shedding free and there is no power-shutdown in this area, reports local media on Sunday.

“Lahore Electric Supply Corporation (Lesco) has installed two feeders to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the newly elected prime minister’s Lahore residence popularly known as Zaman Park,” the report said.

This development is being criticized on social media because in the past Imran Khan blamed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother ex-chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif for taking this facility when Lesco exempted Raiwind from power outages.

“Lesco officials installed 100KV transformer on Sunday even without fulfilling legal formalities”, the report added.

PM Imran Khan on Sunday arrived in Lahore on a day-long visit where he chaired a session of the Punjab Cabinet.

During his visit to the city, Local Government Minister Aleem Khan will brief PM Imran on the 100-day plan’s progress.

Moreover, the primer will review preparations for the upcoming by-polls.
