LAHORE – Pakistani lady diplomat Dr Fareeha Bugti formally handed the captured pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Vartman over to the Indian authorities. The handing over took place at Wahga- Attari border. The prisoner was released to Indian authorities on today.
Dr Fareeha Bugti is currently Foreign Office’s Director (India). She joined Foreign Office in 2005. She has also served as assistant director of the Foreign Office spokesperson in 2007. Ms Bugti is also one of the main Pak officials handling the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav.
