FBR extends date of filing of income tax returns till Oct 31

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date for filing of Income Tax Returns/Statements against the Tax Year 2019 till October 31,2019.
According to a notification of FBR , the individuals and associations of persons are allowed to file their tax returns by the end of next month.
The companies which were required to file Returns of Total Income/Statements of final taxation for the Tax Year 2019, which were due on September 30, 2019 but failed to file their Income Tax Returns /Statements, though have paid 95 percent of the admitted tax liability, are hereby allowed to file their returns/statements by October 31, 2019, the notification added.
