Rs 70b to be spent on clean drinking water in Punjab: Shahbaz

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said the provincial government will spend seventy billion rupees to provide clean drinking water during the next three years.

Presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Thursday, he said eleven billion rupees will be spent on the project during the current fiscal year.

The Chief Minister said the clean water project has already been launched in four districts Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran and Bahawalpur. It will be implemented transparently within the time line.
