Police arrest journalist for 'sexually abusing' teenage boy in Badin

KARACHI - A news reporter working for a private news channel, was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a teenage boy in Badin.

Police have registered a case against the journalist, whose identity has not been disclosed yet, under different sections related to sodomy and drugging someone. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of the victim's elder brother.

The complainant claimed that the accused took his brother to a deserted place near the railway track, where the journalist drugged the 17-year-old boy, subsequently, sexually abusing him.

He further alleged that the accused has also been sexually abusing other young boys in past in the locality, local media reported.

According to police, a letter has already been issued for the victim's medical check-up from Indus Hospital in Badin.
