Siachin: Tribute paid to martyrs of Gayari

RAWALPINDI - A special ceremony was held at Gayari, Siachen to pay tributes to the martyrs of Gayari who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty in 2012 due to a massive snow avalanche.

Paying rich tribute to the martyrs and their families, Corps commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza said that Pakistan Army will always remember its officers and men who laid their lives defending the motherland.

The Corps commander also laid a floral wreath at the martyrs' monument.

Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Corps Commander Rawalpindi and relatives of shaheeds attended the ceremony.
