NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – A woman was detained on Wednesday for hurling a flower pot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy in India capital.
The incident happened when Modi’s convoy was passing through Vijay Chowk in central Delhi, Times of India reported.
According to media reports, the woman wanted to meet PM Modi at his office, but was stopped by the security personnel. Following this, the woman got into an argument with the security men guarding the PM’s convoy.
During the argument with the cops, the woman allegedly pushed a flower pot kept at one of the guard rails, which fell on the road ahead of the convoy.
The woman, who reportedly works at a central government office, has been apprehended by the Delhi Police and being questioned.
The police have taken away the woman to Parliament Street for further interrogation.
