QUETTA – Four Sindhi labourers working on construction of a road were killed on Wednesday by suspected militants in Balochistan’s Kharan.
The deceased were working on a project initiated by National Highway Authority when the assailants opened fire on them and escaped from the spot, the local media reported.
Police and Levies personnel reached the spot as an investigation into the attack is underway.
Levies forces termed the incident an act of target killing as all the victims hailed from Sindh.
The dead bodies were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Kharan.
