ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The National Assembly is set to formally start discussing the fiscal year 2016/17 budget on Monday.
The Senate will also resume its session at 2:30 pm on Monday. The Upper House will take up a number of private members’ bills and motions.
Besides other business, the House is also likely to adopt a motion in which the Senate may make recommendations to the National Assembly on the Finance Bill, 2016, containing the Annual Budget Statement, under Article 73 of the Constitution.
The National Assembly session will start 4:00 pm.
