LAHORE – Two Pakistani journalists came under attack late on Tuesday by unidentified men in the capital city of Punjab.
Columnist Gul Bukhari was on her way to appear in a Waqt News TV show when some unidentified persons intercepted her vehicle near Sherpao Bridge in Cantonment area. She was reported by fellow colleagues to have gone missing. However, she returned home safely early Wednesday morning, according to anchorperson Gharidah Farooqi.

In another similar incident, Asad Kharal, an investigative journalist and chief news analyst of BOLNETWORK, was badly beaten up near Lahore airport by armed men. He was shifted to Lahore’s Services Hospital with multiple injuries.
Kharal is known for digging the corruption stories and challenging the corrupt mafia.
