ISLAMABAD – Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said his party will seek the formation of a National Commission to reach the truth about important issues.
Talking to the media outside the Accountability Court, Nawaz said there was no load shedding during the PML-N government which added 10,000 megawatts to the national grid.
“The caretaker government would be responsible for load shedding,” said Nawaz.
Nawaz Sharif wondered how a single bench of the court can throw out the law made by the Parliament, saying he had no objection about information asked from candidates in the nomination form.
To a question about allegations against PML-N regarding the book of Reham Khan, he said when his political opponents could not find anything else, they leveled baseless allegation. He said he wanted to go for Umra but could not because of the court proceedings.
