LAHORE – The government on Monday announced a three-day holiday for Eidul Azha across the country.
The interior ministry has issued a notification in this regard. The holidays will be observed from September 12 Monday to September 14 Wednesday on the occasion of Eidul Azha 2016, the notification said.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways has decided to run eight special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha with the special discount of twenty-five percent in fares for first two days of Eid.
Presiding over a meeting in Lahore Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique directed that strict monitoring should be ensured for departure and arrival of special trains.
Special trains will be run from 10th to 17th of this month.
