Nisar for stronger ties with United States

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, on Friday, said Pakistan wants to have a long term and sustainable relationship with United States, media reports said.

The interior minister, according to the reports, called on US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson and discussed the matters of mutual interests.

Both agreed to further strengthen the bilateral ties of Oakistan and United States for regional peace and development.

Olson reaffirmed United States’ commitment of continuous support to Pakistan in fight against the evil of terrorism.

Nisar had visited United States, in February, to address the Washington summit that agreed to speed up the war against militancy and stop its depiction as war against Islam.
