LAHORE – Awn Chaudhry on Sunday refused to accept the post of chairman of the Censor Board Punjab.
Chaudhry, who is also considered PM Imran Khan’s close aide, was recently removed as the adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister, said on Twitter that he will keep working as a political worker for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
I have humbly excused myself from accepting the post of Chairman CensorBoard Punjab so the rumors in this regard are untrue. I will keep working as a political worker for my party InshaAllah.
