LoC firing leaves two civilians injured: FO spokesperson

Two civilians were injured in unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in the Tandar sector on Saturday afternoon, said a statement released by the Foreign Office (FO).

Nafees Zakaria tweeted that civilians Sania and Nasir were injured due to ceasefire violation by at 1535 hours today.

FO spokesperson tweeted: “We deplore Indian targeting of civilians. Int’l community should note targeting of civ by India &its action that endanger regional peace.”
