Met dept predicts rain from Sunday to Tuesday

LAHORE – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that Karachi and Lahore will experience rain between Sunday and Tuesday.

According to reports, Meteorological department further predicted the plain areas will receive rain and mountainous regions snow.

“The western winds are expected to hit northern and central Pakistan, after which rain is predicted in the country,” the report added.

Today, northern Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to receive rainfall.

Rain is also expected in Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Islamabad. Strong winds are predicted in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, and Multan.

Other than this, Sindh, Balochistan, Malakand, Hazara, Sukur, and Makran are expected to get some rainfall, while Swat Chitral, Kalam, Malamjabba, Murree and Kashmir are expected to receive light snow.
