ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Pakistan on a two day official tour to discuss bilateral strategic ties on February 17.
According to reports, Davutoglu, who had assumed the office of prime minister in August last year, will meet Pakistan’s political and military leaderships and discuss bilateral, regional and global issues, particularly the situation of Afghanistan.
Davutoglu will also lead Turkish delegation in the Pak-Turk strategic dialogue on February 17 in Islamabad. Several bilateral agreements relating to energy, trade, development and housing sectors are also expected to be signed on the occasion.
The Turkish PM will also meet President Mamnoon Hussain, who will also host a dinner in his honour later.
Davutoglu has also visited Pakistan in past as Turkey’s foreign minister.
